Your Conference Planner

At The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center, our award-winning service is exemplified by our Conference Planning Department.  

Our Conference Planning Managers have an average of 14 years of experience; and together, our Conference Planning Department has more than 6 years of experience at The Inn at Virginia Tech and Skelton Conference Center.  

Our experienced and knowledgeable Conference Planning Managers are dedicated to working with you on every detail of your meeting and supervising the full range of facilities and services required to ensure that your meeting runs smoothly and successfully so you can relax and enjoy your program. Specifically, your planner will be helping you with your guest and meeting room arrangements, and audio visual requirements. 

Benchmark Conference Plan (BCP) 

The Benchmark Conference Plan includes guest room, breakfast, lunch and dinner in Preston’s Restaurant; morning and afternoon continuous refreshment service; meeting room, and the use of standard audio visual equipment.  

Meeting Rooms

Conference rooms are selected to accommodate your particular meeting requirements in terms of meeting format and audio visual needs. If you require additional breakout or hospitality rooms, your conference planner will address these individual needs. Standard conference room setups include writing pads, pencils, glasses, ice water and hard candy. Each room is freshened during the day and is cleaned and reset at the end of your meeting day.
