Two Southern Professional Hockey League teams, the Knoxville Ice Bears and the Roanoke Rail Yard Dawgs, face off at the Berglund Center in Roanoke, Virginia. The Berglund Center is a 10,500-seat, multi-purpose arena that has hosted hockey and other events since 1971. The matchup illustrates the SPHL’s regional, mid-level pro hockey and draws both local and visiting fans to a competitive game.
